I’m going to describe step-by-step how to find sharers that are similar to you using RSSmeme.

1) Find your user page

The easiest way to do this is to click on the Register tab and insert your Google Reader shared feed URL.  RSSmeme will not add a duplicate; it will just redirect you to your page.

2) Click on the link to see your most popular shared stories

Click on the link in the yellow box directing you to your most popular stories.  Now you are looking at stories that you have shared ordered by their popularity.  For this example we are using Louis Gray.  Thanks for volunteering!

3) Look at the sidebar for other users who shared these stories

The sidebar contains a list of users who also shared these stories.  The list is ordered by who shared the same stories as you the most times.  You’ll see yourself at the top of course; but the rest are users who have similar sharing behaviors to yourself!  You can also see the top tags for your stories to figure out what you like to share.

Apparently the stories that Louis shares that become very popular tend to be about FriendFeed and Google.  The similar users come as no suprise; including myself, J. Phil, and sarahintampa.  (note: in case of ties I randomly pick a user/tag; so you might see different results than in these images)
