New Lens - 50mm f/1.8

I think I’m going to enjoy this. Manual focus is not as difficult as I thought it would be but I could understand it being problematic when photographing something active (Loki was pretty tired when I took this photo).

I just got myself a D40, and a 50mm f/1.8 at the same time. It's my first foray out of the pocket digi cams in DSLR. My little experience and the 50mm and D40 have proved a great combo already.

Great! Consider getting the DK-21M (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/407315-RE...) I just got one and it makes MF even easier.
